Rules And Regulations
Charles Schwab Field Omaha tailgating rules and regulations are designed to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment. While we encourage fun and camaraderie, please be mindful of the guidelines to help maintain a safe environment for all attendees. These include proper alcohol consumption, responsible behavior and designated tailgating areas. We ask that all fans respect the space of others and follow the stadium’s specific regulations. - Consumption of alcohol or open containers of alcohol is prohibited in the parking lots.
- Glass containers are strictly prohibited.
- Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis within designated parking lots.
- Holding or saving parking spaces for others is not allowed.
- Drive lanes in parking lots must remain clear at all times for safety.
- Tailgating is only permitted in MECA-controlled parking lots.
- Tailgate activities cannot extend into additional parking spaces or obstruct traffic.
- Overnight parking is not permitted in any MECA-controlled lots.
- ADA parking spaces are available in MECA-controlled lots.
- Staking tents into the ground is prohibited in parking lots or lawn areas.
- Tents may only be anchored using weights, not stakes.
- Commercial banners or advertising signs are not allowed.
- The distribution of promotional items or solicitation is prohibited.
- Any unattended equipment (chairs, tents, grills, etc.) left overnight will be discarded.
- All cooking equipment must be positioned at least three (3) feet away from crowds, buildings or any combustible materials for safety.
- Grills or cooking equipment cannot be left unattended at any time.
- Trash containers and charcoal disposal stations will be available in MECA-controlled parking lots for proper waste disposal.
- Personal golf carts, Segways, hoverboards and skateboards are prohibited in MECA-controlled parking lots.
- RVs, buses and box trucks are not permitted in the parking areas.
- The sale of any items is strictly prohibited on MECA property.
- MECA-controlled parking lots typically open two (2) hours before event doors, except during the Men’s College World Series in June, when lots open at 8 AM.
- Parking lots will close 90 minutes after the event ends.
- MECA reserves the right to revoke daily or season parking passes for non-compliance with parking guidelines.
- All vehicles are parked at the owner’s own risk.
- Please follow the instructions of parking and security staff at all times for your safety and convenience.
- Parking is limited, so please be considerate of other event or concert attendees when setting up your tailgating area.
