We are deeply saddened by the passing of our colleague and friend, Tom O’Gorman.For 25 years, Tom served as Vice President of Corporate Sales and Marketing for MECA. He played a foundational role in the growth and success of our facilities, including the CHI Health Center Omaha and Charles Schwab Field Omaha. Through his work, Tom helped bring major concerts and record-breaking sporting events to Omaha, helping to shape the city’s live entertainment community.Tom’s impact reached far beyond our venues. He built lasting relationships across the industry and was known for his integrity, loyalty and genuine care for others. A passionate coach and mentor, he was above all a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend whose pride in his family was evident in every conversation.Tom leaves an enduring legacy at MECA and across Omaha, the city he embraced as home. His fingerprints are on the buildings, the events, and most importantly, the people who had the privilege to work alongside him.We extend our deepest condolences to Joan and the entire O’Gorman family.
