Get ready, Omaha!
Banana Ball is coming to Charles Schwab Field Omaha on September 3-4, 2027, bringing its unique mix of baseball, athletic showmanship and nonstop entertainment to the home of the Men’s College World Series.
The Banana Ball Championship League will make its Omaha debut with the Party Animals and Firefighters for two nights of high-energy action. Created by Jesse Cole, Banana Ball puts a fresh spin on traditional baseball with fast-paced gameplay, choreographed celebrations, outrageous antics and unexpected moments.
“This community asked. Then kept asking. So, we listened,” said MECA President and CEO Adam Straight, “Baseball fans pack this ballpark every June, and now they get to do it again in September as we welcome the high-energy, crowd-pleasing spectacle of Banana Ball to the home of the Men’s College World Series. MECA recognizes the hunger for more baseball and entertainment at our beautiful downtown stadium, and we believe this is just the beginning of getting more guests through the gates of Charles Schwab Field Omaha all year round.”
